You and a friend each grab a pack! You're ready to play!
Set up your druid, support, and 15 card deck. Each player draws 5.
On your turn, you draw, discover a rune, and learn an ability.
Attack, defend, overcome - once your opponent loses all 10 stamina, you win!

Games are quick, like really quick! Usually there is a winner by turn 5; so the average game lasts under 10 minutes.
You can use any color or all colors. If you focus on one color, the stamina cost while playing will be lower but there will be a downside. If you have multiple colors, you will get all of their strengths but the stamina cost will be higher.
Each player has a stamina bar with 10 spaces. Once all 10 of your opponent's spaces are used (either with damage or stamina), you win the game!
No. Each player starts the game by drawing 5 cards. The first player may not draw or attack on his or her turn - it is dishonorable in Animalia.
That depends! Ability types help build out the role fantasy - such as a druid who masters physical combat more than mystical. Abilities with Mastery will be stronger if you master just one type throughout the fight.
No. If you have already learned 5 abilities and wish to play another one, you must destroy one of your learned abilities first, then play the new one.
At the start of your turn you must draw 1 card. If you cannot, you must destroy one of your discovered runes. If you are somehow out of cards and runes... how are you still alive?
